SX3The series 1200 ℃ box type resistance furnace is a periodic operation electric furnace, which can be used for chemical analysis, physical measurement, and general small steel heat treatment heating in industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research units, laboratories, etc.
This series of resistance furnaces is equipped with KSW or DRZ temperature controllers and nickel chromium nickel silicon thermocouples, which can measure, indicate, and automatically control the furnace temperature.

3、 Structure Introduction
This series of resistance furnace shells are made of thin steel plates that are folded and welded together. The furnace is composed of a box shaped integral lining made of ceramic fiber material. Heating element OcR25A15 iron chromium aluminum alloy wire is wound into a spiral shape and threaded through the wire grooves on the upper, lower, left, and right sides of the furnace lining. The wire groove is connected to the furnace, allowing the heating element to directly radiate heat to the furnace. This type of open furnace lining can effectively accelerate the heating rate of the furnace and improve the accuracy of temperature control. The insulation layer between the lining and shell of the electric furnace is made of ceramic fibers, diatoms, earth bricks, etc.
The electric furnace door is fixed to the electric furnace panel through the long arm of multi-level hinges. The furnace door rotates flexibly. When closing, press or push the handle to fasten the door hook, and the furnace door can be tightly attached to the furnace mouth. When opening, simply lift the handle slightly upwards or inwards, unhook it, and place the furnace door on the side.
The thermocouple used for temperature measurement is inserted through an open hole and fixed with a fixed seat.

6、 Installation and use
1. Electric furnaces do not require special installation, they only need to be placed on a flat ground or rack. The controller should avoid vibration and should not be placed too close to the electric furnace to prevent overheating and prevent electronic components from working properly.
2. Insert the thermocouple into the temperature measuring hole behind the furnace, and fill the gap between the hole and the thermocouple with asbestos rope. When connecting the thermocouple and the controller, be careful not to connect the positive and negative poles in reverse.
3. Open the controller casing and connect the power cord, electric furnace wire, and thermocouple wire according to the standard. An additional power switch needs to be installed at the power cord entry point to control the main power supply. Due to the fact that the power supply wire on the controller shares the neutral wire system with the electric furnace wire. The phase line and the neutral line cannot be reversed, otherwise the controller cannot work properly. For safety reasons, both the electric furnace and the controller must be grounded.
4. Remove the anti vibration short circuit of the XCT-101 temperature indicator, that is, remove the short circuit between the "short" and "short" wiring screws on its rear terminal board (except for the TDW-2001 table)
Adjust the mechanical zero point by turning the middle screw at the bottom of the indicator panel. When using compensation wires and cold end compensation, adjust the mechanical zero point to the reference temperature point of the cold end compensator. When not using temperature compensation wires, adjust the mechanical zero point to the corresponding scale zero position. But the indicated temperature is the temperature difference between the measured point and the cold end of the thermocouple.
5. After checking the wiring is correct, cover the controller housing, adjust the temperature indicator pointer to the desired working temperature (i.e. turn the screw at the bottom corner of the indicator panel), then turn on the power and turn on the control power switch. At this time, the green light will turn on. The relay starts working, the electric furnace is powered on, the ammeter shows a reading, and the temperature indicator pointer gradually rises, indicating that both the electric furnace and the temperature controller are working normally.
The heating and constant temperature of the electric furnace are indicated by red and green indicator lights, with green light indicating heating and red light indicating constant temperature.
7、 Maintenance and Precautions
When the electric furnace is used again after * times of use or long-term disuse, it must be dried in an oven at room temperature――200 ℃ for 2 hours, 200 ℃――600 ℃ for 2 hours, the furnace temperature should not exceed high temperature during use to avoid burning the electric heating element, and it is forbidden to pour various liquids and dissolved metals into the furnace.
2. The electric furnace must be operated in a location with a relative humidity not exceeding 85%, free from conductive dust, explosive gases, and corrosive gases that can damage metal insulation and be harmful to electronic components.
3. Regularly check whether the conductivity system of the electric furnace and controller is in good condition.
4. The furnace temperature shall not exceed the high temperature.

Attention:
Do not make arbitrary changes to the internal parameters of the instrument to prevent the electric furnace from malfunctioning.
Gently close and pull the furnace door.
It is prohibited to directly pour various liquids and dissolve metals into the furnace to maintain its cleanliness.
When using a cold furnace, as the furnace is cold and requires a large amount of heat absorption, the heating rate in the low-temperature section should not be too fast.
Regularly check whether the electrical connections of the temperature control system are in good contact, and pay special attention to whether the connection points of the heating elements are tightened.
When a silicon carbide rod furnace is found to be damaged, it should be replaced with a new silicon carbide rod of the opposite specification and similar resistance value.
If the clamp has severe oxidation, it should be replaced with a new one.
When modifying the connection method of the box type resistance furnace, it is not necessary to install silicon carbon rods. Only the connection method needs to be modified. After modifying the connection method, when using the muffle furnace, attention should be paid to adjusting the heating power adjustment button slowly, and the heating current value should not exceed the additional value.
The box type resistance furnace should be placed in a dry, ventilated, non corrosive gas small mixer location, with a task environment temperature of 10-50 ℃ and a temperature not exceeding 85%.
To ensure accurate measurement, a DC potentiometer is used annually to calibrate the temperature gauge of the XMT temperature controller to prevent significant errors. The current inspection of the box type resistance furnace should check whether the local wires are loose, whether the contacts of the AC contactor are in good condition, and whether the display problems should be repaired in a timely manner.
