The JMD280-43 high-pressure diesel engine multi-stage pump used in oil field mining is composed of a water-cooled diesel engine and a horizontal single suction multi-stage segmented centrifugal pump. This series of pumps adopts the hydraulic model of high-efficiency energy-saving products recommended by the country, and is in a leading position in technology in the industry. It has the advantages of high efficiency, wide performance range, safe and stable operation, low noise, long service life, and easy installation and maintenance.

It can be used for conveying water without solid particles (abrasives), suspended solids, or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water. 1. Operation precautions

A、 The pump is only allowed to operate within the specified parameter range;

b、 The pump is not allowed to operate with the discharge valve closed or closed to a very small opening. Otherwise, it will cause the pump to heat up and reduce its lifespan. If the pump is installed in a parallel system, each pump must operate under specific parameters to ensure the flow rate of the pump;

c、 The pump cannot operate with the suction valve closed. Otherwise, it will cause the pump to run dry, resulting in damage to the pump components;

d、 The medium conveyed by the pump cannot contain air or gas, otherwise it will make it impossible to accurately measure the flow rate and head of the pump, and it will also cause grinding and damage to the parts.

2. Check before starting the pump

A、 Before starting the pump, the diesel engine and pump rotor should be turned first to check if the pump rotor is flexible;

B、 Check whether all bolts and pipeline leads are securely connected and the safety situation around the pump;

C、 Check if all instruments, valves, and devices are functioning properly

D、 Check whether the position of the oil ring and the oil level of the oil level gauge are normal;

e、 Check if the steering of the diesel engine is consistent with the steering of the pump.

3. Start of high-pressure diesel engine water pump

A、 Open the suction valve of the pump and the valve of the water seal pipeline;

B、 Close the outlet gate valve and pressure gauge plug of the pump; Use the conveyed liquid or vacuum system to remove air from the suction pipe and pump body; Do not start the pump when there is no liquid inside, otherwise it may damage the parts.

C、 Start the diesel engine and let it idle. After the pump runs normally, open the pressure gauge plug and slowly open the pump outlet gate valve. Adjust the diesel engine speed to normal and observe the pressure gauge and switch readings. Control the pump's given head according to the outlet pressure gauge reading.

4. Pump operation

A、 This type of pump relies on an internal balancing mechanism to balance axial force. The balancing device has balancing liquid flowing out. The balancing liquid is connected to the suction section through a balancing water pipe or a short pipe is set outside the balancing room. The balancing liquid flows out of the pump through the short pipe. To ensure the normal operation of the pump, the balancing water pipe must not be blocked;

B、 The rolling bearings of this type of pump do not have cooling devices, and the temperature rise of the bearings reflects the assembly quality of the pump. The temperature rise of the bearings should not exceed 35 degrees Celsius above the ambient temperature, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 75 degrees Celsius;

C、 The rotor of this type of pump has a certain axial movement during operation, and the clearance value between the end faces of the motor and water pump couplings should be ensured;

D、 During the operation of the pump, the instruments, pump speed, impeller, sealing ring, guide vane sleeve, balance plate, and shaft sleeve should be checked for wear at regular intervals. If the wear is too large, it should be replaced in a timely manner. In addition, monitor the flow rate, head, temperature, and lubrication condition of the pump; When the pump malfunctions, it should be stopped and repaired according to the troubleshooting table.

5. Parking of multi-stage pump for high-pressure diesel engine

Before parking, the diesel engine speed should be reduced to idle state, the pressure gauge plug should be closed, and the outlet gate valve should be slowly closed. After the outlet valve is closed, the diesel operation should be stopped. When the pump stops steadily, the suction valve of the pump should be closed.

6. Pump maintenance

In order to maintain the efficient and stable working condition of the pump, it must be regularly maintained. The maintenance items and intervals between each maintenance depend on the working conditions and operating conditions of the pump. Regularly check the performance of the pump (such as flow rate, head, vibration, etc.) and keep records. Use these recorded data to analyze whether the pump is working properly, whether maintenance is needed, or determine which part needs to be repaired.

Under normal conditions, if precise testing, recording, and regular summary records are maintained, reliable information on whether the pump needs maintenance can be obtained every few months. In addition to monitoring the pump at designated times, the following maintenance is regular;

A、 Check if the pump base, pump, and motor are securely fastened. If they are loose, it may cause vibration in the pump;

B、 Check the condition of instruments and leads, inspect pipelines for leaks, looseness, or other forms of damage. If necessary, it should be repaired immediately;

C、 The packing gland should not be pressed too tightly, otherwise it will affect the service life of the packing;

D、 Replace the bearing lubricating oil every 1000 hours of operation.
