1、 Product Overview
This product is used in conjunction with a tipping bucket rain gauge and is suitable for various models of tipping bucket rain gauges to detect, store, display, and alert rainfall amounts. The alarm adopts dual channels of external (product accessories equipped with AC-DC converter 9-12V) and internal 4.5V dry battery, and automatically switches power supply. Wall mounted installation design for the product. Equipped with LCD display (supporting dual line display with 8 Chinese characters or 16 numerical letters per line), it can display real-time clock, hourly rainfall, today's rainfall, and alarm values of various levels and time periods. The alarm function adopts three time periods and three levels of sound and light alarms (four indicator lights and one speaker), and the alarm value and time can be set through communication with the upper computer or "password lock". The alarm value will not be lost in case of power failure.

2、 Alarm function
The alarm is divided into rainfall alarm and low voltage alarm. Alarm is achieved through three rainfall warning indicators, one voltage warning indicator, and a horn. When the voltage is normal, if there is an alarm signal, both the indicator light and the horn will sound the alarm simultaneously; When the voltage is low, if there is an alarm signal, the alarm only uses the indicator light to sound the alarm. The setting of alarm values is currently verified by the company's technical department before leaving the factory. It can be extended to a customer modifiable format according to customer needs.
1. Rainfall warning
The alarm period is divided into three periods: 1 hour, 3 hours, and 12 hours;
The rainfall for one hour is the sum of the accumulated rainfall for 60 minutes prior to that minute;
The rainfall for 3 hours is the sum of the accumulated rainfall for 180 minutes prior to that minute;
The rainfall for 12 hours is the sum of the accumulated rainfall for 720 minutes prior to that minute.
Alarm without distinguishing time periods;
Each time period is divided into one level (highest), two levels, and three levels (lowest) alarms based on the amount of rainfall. The high-level alarm value is less than or equal to the adjacent low-level alarm value;
Different levels of alerts are distinguished by the number of flashing indicator lights for rainfall alerts. When the first level alarm is triggered, three alarm indicators flash simultaneously. When the second level alarm is triggered, two alarm indicators flash simultaneously. When the third level alarm is triggered, one alarm indicator flashes;
When there is an alarm at any level or time period, the horn will sound;
Long press the 'SET' button to turn off the horn, and when another alarm signal arrives, the horn will be triggered again.
2. Voltage low alarm
There is a low voltage alarm indicator light on the alarm, which is used to alert against low voltage that may be encountered when using dry batteries.
When there is no rainfall alarm and low voltage alarm, the normal indicator light will flash to indicate the normal working status.

3、 Menu display and time adjustment

The current hour's rainfall is the accumulated rainfall from one hour to the next, and it will be reset to zero by the next hour.
The rainfall for today started accumulating at 8am and was cleared to zero by 8am the next morning.
The above two data are updated in real-time in units of 1 second.
The 1-hour rainfall is the accumulated rainfall from the current minute to the previous 60 minutes.
The 3-hour rainfall is the accumulated rainfall from the current minute to the previous 180 minutes.
The 12 hour rainfall is the accumulated rainfall from the current minute to the previous 720 minutes.
The above 3 data are refreshed in real-time in units of 1 minute.
When displaying the time, press the ∧ and ∨ keys simultaneously to enter the time display menu:

(There are two main differences between time display and time adjustment menu: time adjustment has a highlighted display, time display does not have a highlighted display, and the format of time display is different from that of time adjustment in terms of hours, minutes, and seconds.)
Press the>key to cycle and shift. Press the ∧ or ∨ key to adjust the size of the target value, and the target value will be displayed in white. When adjusting the time, both the ∧ key and the ∨ key support continuous pressing function. For example, holding down the ∧ key will accumulate the target value at a certain speed, and the accumulation speed will be faster. Press the SET key to exit the time adjustment menu.
The time displayed after entering the time adjustment menu is the time at which the menu was entered and will not automatically change throughout the entire time adjustment process. The internal clock is running normally. If only entering the time adjustment menu without making any adjustments, the actual time will be displayed when exiting the time adjustment menu. For example, if you enter the time adjustment menu from May 4th, 2010 to 12:06:05, the entire time adjustment process will display "May 4th, 2010 to 12:06:05". If any number in "May 4, 2010-12:07:23" is not changed when exiting the menu on May 4, 2010, it will display May 4, 2010-12:07:23. If it is changed, the change value will be displayed.

If there is no button action for 5 minutes, the LCD screen will power off and turn off. If a certain menu is currently displayed, the LCD screen will return to the time display after turning off the menu. If the time is currently being adjusted and the LCD screen is turned off, exit the time adjustment menu and return to the time display. The time adjustment is effective.

precautions
1. The battery can only be replaced when the external power source is effective. Otherwise, the system will be essentially rebooted and the time will need to be reset.
