The iron cobalt colorimeter is a standard solution that complies with the GB1722 method for determining the color of clear oil, varnish, and thinner. It is suitable for determining the color of clear oil, varnish, and thinner.

1. Wooden concealed box (self-made);

3、 Usage and operation methods:
Place the sample into a clean and dry format tube and compare it with an iron cobalt colorimeter under transmitted light in a dark box at 23 ± ℃. Select two standard color scale solutions that are closest in color to the sample or one that is the same color as the sample. The color grade of the sample is directly indicated by the number of the standard color scale. If the hue is different, the depth of the color can be compared.
4、 Precautions for QSG Iron Diamond Colorimeter:
1. If the sample becomes turbid due to low temperature during testing, it can be heated on a water bath at 50-55 ℃ for 5 minutes, then cooled to 23 ± 1 ℃, and measured after 5 minutes of holding;
2. The iron cobalt colorimeter is calibrated every three years;
3. After the sample test, the test tube should be cleaned and set aside for later use;
4. The iron cobalt colorimeter should be properly stored to prevent exposure to light.
