It is used for the analysis of ash content (fast ash and slow ash), volatile matter, total sulfur (Erica method) of coal, coking products, and chemical raw materials, as well as for the determination of coal ash composition, feed, food, moisture analysis, sediment analysis, adhesion (Roga) index, and trace element determination. It can also be used for heating general small steel parts during quenching, annealing, tempering, and other heat treatments. High temperature furnaces can also be used for high-temperature heating such as sintering, dissolution, and analysis of metals and ceramics.
