1: Technical background
With the rapid development of urban construction, the number of road infrastructure lighting facilities continues to increase, and the contradiction between energy supply and demand is becoming increasingly prominent. The requirements for energy conservation, energy saving, and green lighting are becoming more urgent and higher. The switch mode of traditional road lighting facilities adopts illumination control or microcomputer timer control. After long-term operation of the equipment, there may be inaccurate and inconsistent switching time of the lights. In addition, the traditional method of inspecting road lighting facilities relies on maintenance personnel driving and inspecting during the turning on time to find equipment failures before solving them. Due to issues with manpower, material resources, and the sense of responsibility of maintenance personnel, it is common for local road lighting facilities to remain unlit for a long time, which will bring about significant negative social problems for urban managers. Road lighting equipment is an important public facility in cities, providing a centralized control system for road lighting that is highly automated, reliable in operation, efficient and energy-saving, and easy to use and maintain. It is an inevitable requirement for green energy conservation, intelligent management, and modernization. Road lighting urgently needs a sophisticated intelligent street lamp control system to achieve remote centralized monitoring of urban street lamps, in order to improve management efficiency and reduce the cost of using and maintaining street lamps.

2: System Overview
The new generation intelligent street light control system launched by our company mainly consists of three parts: road lighting system management platform, street light centralized controller, and street light single/double light controller. The system adopts advanced intelligent control technology, wireless IoT communication technology, power line carrier communication technology, intelligent power management technology, electronic geographic information technology, etc., to implement networked, informationized, intelligent, and automated remote centralized control and unified management of all road lighting facilities, realize remote diagnosis and maintenance of equipment and automatic fault alarm, effectively improve the management personnel's control, maintenance, and repair capabilities and efficiency. The intelligent street light control system provides guarantees for the overall "lighting rate" and "equipment integrity rate" of road lighting facilities, while reducing energy consumption, easing the labor intensity of workers, avoiding unnecessary waste of electricity, manpower, and material resources, and helping to improve the quality of urban road lighting services, thereby enhancing the management and service level of the entire city.

■ Timer control: pre-set rules for turning on and off lights, midnight light time rules, and dimming time rules.
Fault alarm: When a certain street lamp or circuit malfunctions, the intelligent street lamp control system actively sends an alarm message to the monitoring center.
Line anti-theft: When the line cable is stolen, the intelligent street light control system actively sends an alarm message to the monitoring center.
System display: Display important information related to the organizational structure of the lighting equipment system, distribution facilities, and types of lighting fixtures.

5: Management Platform
The management platform of the intelligent street light control system mainly includes ten modules: statistical summary, GIS map, basic data, historical monitoring, scheme deployment, scheme reading, data synchronization, core parameters, SMS module, and system management. This management platform adopts a super intuitive visual interface, which can accurately analyze, judge, locate, and label faults in real time. The purpose of monitoring is to monitor the operating status of on-site equipment, input and output lines, and intermediate electrical appliances, in order to detect faults and ensure lighting. Starting from a user-friendly interface design, the system software is a distributed management system based on B/S architecture, which is divided into three parts: client application, server data processing and communication guarantee, and controller protocol processing. Each part can run on different machines, be supported by different operating systems, and connected by different communication networks, thereby improving the scalability, maintainability, and reliability of the monitoring software system. The client is mainly in the form of web pages, including various functions such as device information management, device status information monitoring, device geographic information query, device time scheme operation, and device temporary control; The server side mainly stores the device data to ensure the communication connection with the device. Under a stable network environment, the server and client are connected by the Internet communication protocol, and the server and controller are connected by the specific protocol of the controller; The software on the controller side performs automatic and manual operations according to the received user settings commands, monitors the relevant power parameters of the controller, and sends them back to the server for real-time monitoring.
