Product details
1、 Introduction to Industrial Fixed Combustible Gas Transmitters
The BYG500 Ex industrial fixed combustible gas transmitter continuously detects combustible gases in the atmosphere online and provides sound and light alarms. It not only controls the concentration of gases in special occasions, but also has a warning effect on gas leaks in dangerous sites, timely protecting the safety of life and property on various sites. Instruments are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, fire protection, coal mining, electricity, ships, environmental protection, telecommunications, and medical care. The BYG500 Ex combustible gas detector adopts imported sensors combined with high-speed and high-precision processing circuits, which have the advantages of stable signals, high accuracy, and good repeatability. It also adopts explosion-proof design and is suitable for various hazardous situations. The instrument outputs various standard signals and is compatible with various alarm systems, PLC, DCS and other control systems.
2、 Working principle of industrial fixed combustible gas transmitter
Catalytic combustion gas sensor utilizes the thermal effect principle of catalytic combustion, consisting of a detection element and a compensation element paired to form a measurement bridge. Under certain temperature conditions, combustible gas undergoes flameless combustion on the surface of the detection element carrier and the catalyst, causing the carrier temperature to rise. The platinum wire resistance inside it also increases accordingly, causing the balance bridge to lose balance and outputting an electrical signal proportional to the concentration of combustible gas. By measuring the magnitude of the resistance change of the platinum wire, the concentration of flammable gases can be determined. Mainly used for the detection of flammable gases, it has good output signal linearity, reliable index, low price, and will not cross infect with other non flammable gases.

5、 Installation method of industrial fixed combustible gas transmitter
According to the specific gravity and wind direction of the gas, the transmitter should be installed within one meter of the possible gas leakage location. This way, the actual response speed of the transmitter is relatively fast. Otherwise, there may be a situation where the concentration of combustible gas or toxic and harmful gas at the transmitter installation location does not exceed the standard, but the local gas at the leakage point has already exceeded the standard, and the transmitter and host cannot alarm.
The installation height of the transmitter above the ground should be greater than 30 centimeters to prevent water splashing in. In general, for detecting harmful gases with a specific gravity lower than that of air, the probe should be installed above the house or equipment; For harmful gases with a specific gravity greater than that of air, the probe should be installed close to the ground.
The installation probe of the transmitter should face downwards. If installed outdoors, a rain shield should be added above the transmitter.
