2、 The working principle of the instrument:
This dosimeter uses a Geiger Muller counting tube to measure radiation. When each ray passes through the GM tube and causes ionization, the GM tube generates a detection current pulse. Each pulse is detected and recorded as a count by the electronic tube circuit. The displayed value of the dosimeter is the count value in the mode you have selected.
Due to the random nature of radioactivity, the count values detected by the dosimeter vary every minute. The readings taken over an average period of time are more accurate, and the longer the time interval taken, the more accurate the average value.
