If there are hard particles (waste hydrochloric acid during acid washing) in hydrochloric acid, it needs to be filtered. When choosing a centrifugal pump, mechanical seals should be considered to ensure that the mechanical seals can operate normally when the waste hydrochloric acid is not completely filtered. For pure hydrochloric acid without particulate matter, centrifugal pump or magnetic pump can be selected. There are no particles in hydrochloric acid, pure hydrochloric acid: Choose a corrosion-resistant hydrochloric acid centrifugal pump. The mechanical seal cannot achieve complete sealing during the design process, so there is an allowable leakage during operation.

Precautions for selecting corrosion-resistant hydrochloric acid centrifugal pumps:

The normal operating temperature of fluorine lined centrifugal pumps is 95 ℃. If it exceeds 95 ℃, high-temperature resistant materials need to be replaced and water-cooled seals need to be installed.

Mechanical seal: Dynamic ring: filled with PTFE carbon fiber material, or configured with ceramics, silicon carbide, pressureless sintered silicon carbide, etc. according to different conveying media. Static ring: using silicon carbide, ceramics, pressureless sintered silicon carbide, etc.

The impeller is integrally molded from fluoroplastic, with steel inserts wrapped inside the fluoroplastic to ensure its strength. All IHF impellers in our company are made of fluoroplastic alloy sintered, which has the toughness of F46 and the temperature resistance of F4.

The pump casing is made of HT200 integral casting, and both the upper and lower surfaces are flattened using a gantry milling machine, maximizing the level and stability of the pump.

Bearings generally use 2RS double groove ball grease lubrication type, which does not require later oil filling.

The maximum working pressure of the mechanical seal is 1MPa, and if it exceeds this pressure, a mechanical seal retaining ring needs to be installed.

The theoretical service life of mechanical seals is 2500 hours (three months), and harsh working conditions can affect their service life.
