Head 2
The head is a component of a container (as shown in the figure on the right), which can be divided into several types according to its geometric shape, such as spherical, elliptical, disc-shaped, spherical crown shaped, conical shell, and flat cover. Among them, spherical, elliptical, disc-shaped, and spherical crown shaped heads are also collectively referred to as convex heads. Applied to various container equipment, such as storage tanks, heat exchangers, towers, reactors, boilers, and separation equipment. ● Head Overview The head is a component of a container, the end cap on a pressure vessel, and a major pressure bearing part of the pressure vessel. Its quality is directly related to the long-term safe and reliable operation of pressure vessels. ● Head classification According to different geometric shapes, it can be divided into several types such as elliptical, disc-shaped, spherical, spherical, conical shell, and flat cap. Among them, elliptical, disc-shaped, spherical, and spherical cap heads are also collectively referred to as convex heads. ● Implement standards GB/T12459-2005, GB/T13401-2005, DL/T695-1999, D-GD87-0607, etc. ● Purpose of the head The head is an essential component in pressure vessel equipment for many industries, from petrochemicals, atomic energy to food and pharmaceuticals. Applied to various container equipment, such as towers, storage tanks, heat exchangers, reactors, boilers, and separation equipment.
