HANNA has launched a newly designed and unique professional grade laboratory pH, ORP (mV), ° C high-performance comprehensive measuring instrument, with a capacity of 240 × 320
Dot matrix color screen, real-time on-screen assistance, custom interval data recording (10 sets, 5000 measurement parameters stored per set), chart and curve display and analysis, automatic data endpoint locking, language selection, user-defined settings and other practical functions; HI4221 can measure multiple measurement parameters such as pH/ORP (mV)/° C according to the actual measurement requirements of users; Multiple pH, ORP (mV), and ° C calibration modes are available. For pH calibration, up to 5 calibration points can be selected from the factory's built-in calibration points, or user-defined calibration points can be used. The CAL CHECK calibration verification system can also be used to ensure the overall performance of the instrument is reliable and the measurement data is accurate; HI4221 is also equipped with USB and RS232 interfaces, which can facilitate users to connect various computers and printers with different configurations for data storage, printing, chart display, and GLP information.
Calibration Check Function and pH Calibration Check System
The reliability of pH measurement mainly depends on the reliability and matching of the pH meter and matching electrode; Hanat has developed the Calibration Check system, which can effectively assist users in determining the performance of instruments, electrodes, and calibration buffers, and remind users of calibration or measurement errors caused by misoperation.
1. After each calibration, the instrument will automatically compare the new calibration parameters with the previous calibration parameters. If there is a significant error between the two calibration parameters, a prompt message will appear to inform the user to clean and replace the electrode, check whether the calibration solution is contaminated or ineffective;
If the measured value exceeds the calibrated measurement error range, the instrument will display a warning message;
3. After each calibration, the pH electrode status will be displayed, allowing users to maintain and clean the electrode in a timely manner and understand its service life;
4. Timely remind the calibration function to avoid incorrect measurement results caused by failure to calibrate in a timely manner.
