Chromatographic columns for petroleum analysis
The applications in the field of petroleum vary greatly, from inert gases to simulated distillation. Agilent has designed various chromatographic columns to meet the needs of petroleum/petrochemical chromatographic analysts. Please refer to the "PLOT Column" section in "Chromatographic Columns for Light Gas Analysis".
Recommended chromatographic column for petroleum
1、 DB-HT SimDis for simulating distillation technology
2、 HP-PONA, DB-5 or HP-1 for PONA and PLANO analysis
HP-PONA capillary column
1、 100% dimethyl polysiloxane; Configured for analyzing petroleum processing products; Tested for the separation of meta xylene and para xylene, as well as the separation of cyclopentane and 2,3-dimethylbutane; PONA,PIANO; High dispersion; Bonding crosslinking; Can be rinsed with solvent
2、 Similar stationary phases: Petrocol DH, SPB-1007-1, Rtx-1, MXT-1
3、 Scope of application: PONA analysis
Note: In order to achieve the best carrier gas line speed, it is required to use a 100psi pressure regulating valve
