HK-8530 Hexavalent Chromium AnalyzerIt is a laboratory instrument independently developed by Beijing Huake Instrument Technology Co., Ltd. for measuring the hexavalent chromium content in water samples. It is widely used in various fields such as education, scientific research, drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, surface water, groundwater detection, industrial process control, and product quality control for ammonia nitrogen measurement.
HK-8530 adopts the diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometric method (GBT)
7467-87) measurement. In acidic solution, hexavalent chromium reacts with diphenylcarbazide to form a purple red compound, which is measured by spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 540nm.
Chromium is an important environmental pollutant, mainly derived from the "three wastes" emitted by industries such as electroplating, metallurgy, leather making, printing and dyeing, and chemical engineering. The toxicity of chromium is related to its valence state. It exists in two forms, trivalent chromium and hexavalent chromium, in drinking water.
