4、 Product Function Description:

1. Softener:

The hardness of water is mainly composed of cations such as calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) ions. When raw water containing hardness passes through the cation resin layer of the water softener, calcium and magnesium ions in the water are adsorbed by the resin, while sodium ions are released. The water flowing out of the exchanger in this way is softened water that has removed hardness ions. When the resin that adsorbs calcium and magnesium ions reaches a certain level and loses its exchange capacity, the water softener automatically regenerates the failed resin according to the predetermined program, using a higher concentration of sodium chloride solution to pass through the resin and restore the failed resin to a sodium type resin.

2. Runxin control valve: The valve body material is high-strength, lightweight, corrosion-resistant engineering plastic, and lead-free brass.

3. Anti corrosion tank body: The tank body is made of fiberglass (carbon steel or stainless steel lined plastic tank body can be selected), which is corrosion-resistant, pressure resistant, and has a long service life.

4. Uniform water distribution system: using jet type water distribution, the effective exchange capacity of the resin can be fully utilized, and precise control with salt is achieved without the need for a salt pump.

5. Imported high-performance resin: Strong acidic cation exchange resin is selected, with low damage rate, uniform particle size, and improved ion exchange rate.

6. Softener working procedure:

First, water is supplied, and untreated water passes through the resin layer, undergoing an exchange reaction to produce soft water. Then backwash, water enters from the lower part of the resin layer, loosens the resin, and removes fine impurities. Further saltwater regeneration: Using high concentration saltwater (NaCl) to flow through the resin, the failed resin is reduced back to sodium type resin. Further flushing: Follow the water supply process to flush out excess salt solution and regenerated calcium and magnesium ions through resin. Finally, inject water into the salt tank to dissolve the salt for the next regeneration.

7. Installation requirements for softener:

(1) The foundation needs to be level, and a floor drain or drainage ditch should be set up nearby to discharge the recycled wastewater. Independent power sockets should be installed near the equipment.

(2) The salt box should be close to the exchange tank, and the shorter the salt suction pipe, the better.

(3) A Y-shaped filter and water meter should be installed on the inlet pipe, and a sampling port should be provided at the outlet.

(4) Manual valves should be installed on the inlet and outlet pipes, and bypass valves should be installed between the inlet and outlet to continue water supply during regeneration or maintenance.

(5) If the water pressure at the inlet is lower than 0.2 MPa, an automatic booster pump should be added.

(6) The salt requirement in the salt box is industrial salt, and iodized salt and calcium salt cannot be added. To ensure that the concentration of the salt solution in the salt tank can reach saturation, the dissolution time should be ensured to be no less than 6 hours, and a forced regeneration should be carried out before the first use.

(7) When the hardness of the raw water is greater than 6mmol/L, the selection of 1-2 levels should be increased.

(8) Before use, the pipeline must be flushed to avoid impurities blocking the valve body and contaminating the resin.

(9) Antifreezing measures should be taken in winter in the north.

8. Time control:

The regeneration cycle is set based on hourly production and cycle water production, which is generally suitable for situations where water consumption is relatively stable.

9. Flow control:

The regeneration program is initiated based on the periodic water production rate. When the equipment is running, a dedicated flow meter counts the total water production rate. When the total water production reaches the set periodic water production rate, the controller starts the regeneration program for automatic regeneration. The regeneration of the equipment is independent of the running time and is generally suitable for situations where the water consumption is unstable and continuous.

10. Sand filtration:

It is a water filtration treatment process that uses natural quartz sand, manganese sand, and anthracite as filter media. The particle size of sand is generally 0.5-1.2mm, with an non-uniformity coefficient of 2. Commonly used for water treatment after clarification (precipitation) treatment or deep treatment of wastewater after secondary treatment. According to the requirements of raw water and effluent quality, it can have different filter layer thicknesses and filtration speeds.

11. Carbon filter:

Adopting high-tech technology and processed through special processes, it integrates adsorption, filtration, interception, and catalysis, effectively removing organic matter, residual chlorine, and other radioactive substances from water, and has the effects of decolorization and odor removal. It is currently an ideal new generation product in the liquid purification industry.

1. The system equipment is entitled to a one-year free warranty, which starts from the date of product acceptance. Consumable filter materials are not included in this warranty.
2. If any equipment quality problems occur during the warranty period (excluding those caused by misoperation or unforeseeable factors), the supplier shall repair them free of charge and be responsible for replacing damaged parts.
After the warranty period expires, only a certain material fee and appropriate technical service fee will be charged.
If there is a malfunction in the system operation that cannot be resolved by oneself or by phone, our technical maintenance personnel will provide a solution (including temporary measures) and schedule within 24 hours after receiving written notice of the malfunction from the demand side, and will report to the leaders of both parties.
