Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) refers to the amount of oxidant consumed when treating water samples with potassium dichromate as an oxidant under strong acid and heating conditions, expressed in mg/L of oxygen.

Adopting rapid digestion method, the operation process is simple, fast, and economical, and the measurement results have good comparability with traditional titration method.

This instrument has a range of 0-150mg/L and is used for detecting effluent from sewage treatment plants. The range of 0-1500mg/L is widely used for sewage detection in sewage treatment plants, food, chemical, metallurgical, environmental protection, and pharmaceutical industries.
