TM 300- Grinding and Mixing of Large Batch Samples
TM 300 is suitable for both particle and powder samples, and can be ground dry or wet. The drum grinder has two sets of accessories: ball mill and bar mill.
Ball milling or rod milling requires sufficient grinding balls or rods, with typical sample fineness below 150 μ m.
The grinder consists of a gear motor with a protective iron cover and sample collection buckets with different sizes of separation sieves. The sample collection of TM300 is very simple: the equipment is easy to open, and the grinding cylinder has a quick opening top cover.
Grinding parameter adjustment:
Grinding time, start, stop and other parameters can be directly selected or set on the display screen for saving. The following factors will affect the fineness of the sample after injection: sample properties, injection size, and injection volume. Silent protective cover
Principle of drum grinder:
Place the sample (usually pre crushed material) inside the drum of the drum grinder, and the sample is subjected to external forces from the drum and grinding ball/rod. Ball mill and rod mill components are used for fine crushing of solid samples under wet/dry grinding conditions through impact and friction. The grinding drum contains samples and grinding balls/rods, which rotate around a horizontal axis. Generally, when using larger diameter grinding balls/rods, the sample particles are more prone to breakage, while smaller diameter ones will result in finer final fineness of the processed sample. The motor integrates a solid-state controller with internal overload protection, which can accurately set and control different grinding drum speeds.
