ELTRA's CHS-580 is an ideal carbon, hydrogen, and sulfur analyzer for simultaneous determination of organic samples.
Even samples up to 500mg or more, and even non-uniform materials, can be reliably analyzed. The maximum temperature of the horizontal resistance furnace and ceramic tube can reach 1550 ℃, which can be adjusted by 1 ℃. The analyzer can be equipped with three independent infrared detection cells according to user requirements, which are suitable for most organic samples.
ELTRA's CHS-580A analyzer (A=automatic loader) is equipped with an automatic sampler that can analyze large amounts of samples without the need for an operator. The sampler has 36 crucibles and 130 crucibles.
The CHS-580A series is a vertical resistance furnace and ceramic tube technology based on the CHS-580 analyzer, with a maximum heating temperature of 1550 ℃ and an adjustable temperature of 1 ℃. Samples weighing up to 500mg and even uneven materials can be reliably analyzed. This analyzer can be assembled according to user requirements to meet various applications.

mechanism
CHS-580 is easy to operate
After weighing the sample, it is placed in a ceramic sample boat, and the weight value is transmitted to the computer (or manually entered). Then, the sample boat is placed in a resistance furnace for combustion, with an average analysis time of 60 to 180 seconds. The detector signal and instrument parameters can be displayed during the analysis process.
The evaluation of the final signal and the display of the analysis results will be automatically completed, and the data can be transmitted to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Measurement principle of CHS-580
The CHS-580 sample is burned in an oxygen atmosphere at temperatures up to 1550 ℃. The temperature inside the furnace can be freely selected to gradually increase or decrease by 1 ℃. The combustion gases (carbon dioxide, water, sulfur dioxide) from the furnace first pass through a particulate filter and then enter the heated H2O
Infrared pool. Afterwards, it is a dry gas that chemically absorbs water vapor, carbon dioxide, and sulfur dioxide. Three infrared pools can be configured as needed.
