The fuel gas metering and pressure regulation system of a gas turbine generally consists of several subsystems, including a filtration heating system, a metering system, a pressure regulation system, a venting system, and a gas leakage alarm system. The pressure regulating system has the configuration feature of "pressure control system" and adopts the configuration mode of "safety emergency shut-off valve+monitoring pressure regulating valve+self operated pressure regulating valve"; The metering system needs to be equipped with a flow computer for gas temperature and pressure compensation in order to perform flow calculation. In principle, the venting system adopts centralized venting, while the gas leakage alarm system can be interlocked with the main valve and venting system. When a leakage danger occurs on site, the station control system commands the main valve to close and opens the venting system for emergency venting.

This system has high requirements for the pressure regulating valve. Firstly, it requires its fast opening ability, and at the same time, the response speed of the pressure regulating valve is fast (for example, in some cases, it is equipped with an acceleration commander). Among the pressure regulating valves with this characteristic, axial flow pressure regulating valves are more commonly used.

System features:

a. Adopting an axial flow pressure regulating valve, it has the characteristics of stable pressure and excellent closing performance at high flow rates;

b. High voltage regulation accuracy of ± 1% and wide regulation ratio;

c. Equal percentage characteristic (logarithmic characteristic);

d. The system safety cut-off response time is less than 1 second;

e. The system can also be configured with functions such as automatic cut-off, remote transmission of valve position, valve position indication (local and remote), etc;

f. Gas heating generally adopts electric heating method, which is divided into direct electric heaters (furnaces) and indirect electric heaters (furnaces).
