Product details

Drinking water defluorination filter material is a type of water purification filter material. Natural minerals have been modified and their pore structure has been adjusted, resulting in increased specific surface area activity and better adsorption of aluminum salts and their hydrolysis products, making them a good carrier for aluminum salts. It has the characteristics of short contact time, good removal effect, no introduction of other substances into the effluent, and large fluoride removal capacity.

Endemic fluorosis, commonly known as "endemic fluorosis", is one of the widespread endemic diseases worldwide, seriously endangering people's health. Almost all natural water contains fluoride ions, and drinking water is the main source of fluoride intake for the human body. Insoluble fluoride in drinking water is mostly excreted with feces, while soluble fluoride is absorbed by 86% to 97%. Fluoride is one of the essential trace elements for the human body. When the fluoride content in drinking water is insufficient, it is prone to dental caries. However, when excessive fluoride is ingested, it accumulates in hard tissues, bones, and teeth. Long term consumption of high fluoride water can cause dental enamel spots, tooth decay, enamel peeling, and fluorosis. In severe cases, it can affect bone development, cause bone hardening or osteoporosis, and lead to fluorosis, causing people to lose their ability to work. Research has found that when drinking water with a fluoride concentration greater than 1.0mg/L for a long time, the incidence of dental fluorosis increases with the increase of fluoride concentration in the water; When the fluoride concentration in water exceeds 4.0mg/L, fluorosis gradually increases. Therefore, according to the standards for drinking water, the appropriate fluoride concentration in drinking water is 1mg/L. The water standard stipulates that the fluoride ion concentration (F) shall not exceed 1mg F/L (new drinking water standard GB5749-2006)
