Tank protection

Tanks are made of relatively lightweight materials and typically have limited pressure bearing capacity. If not properly released, it is easy to form a vacuum and cause the shell to collapse. PF type bursting discs provide cost-effective protection for storage tanks.

The size of the bursting disc should be at least equal to the flow inlet or outlet connection size of the storage tank (whichever is larger), and the maximum bursting pressure should not exceed the design pressure or vacuum degree of the storage tank (whichever is smaller). The minimum bursting pressure should be at least twice the maximum working pressure or vacuum degree of the storage tank (whichever is larger).

Pressure relief valve protection

Corrosive elements in the atmosphere can enter through the outlet of the safety valve and damage the working components of the valve, affecting its normal operation. Valves connected to the common manifold at the outlet are more susceptible to damage. The PF type bursting disc installed on the outlet flange of the valve can effectively protect the valve components from the impact of harsh environments.

The size of the bursting disc should be the same as the outlet flange of the valve. The maximum burst pressure should not exceed the set pressure of the valve, and the minimum burst pressure should be at least twice the maximum working pressure in the manifold.
