The flange insulation gasket set is used to solve the problems of flange sealing and insulation, and to control the losses caused by pipeline leakage and corrosion. They are widely used in oil and gas, water treatment, refining, and chemical plant pipelines to seal flanges and prevent stray currents, thereby enhancing the performance of cathodic protection.
Application of flange insulation gasket group:
·Control the range and cost of cathodic protection current within the pipelines that need to be protected by the main cathodic protection system.
·Divide the long pipeline into different cathodic protection systems using current.
·Insulate the pipeline to ensure cathodic protection or that stray currents do not cause corrosion or harm.
·Isolate pipeline systems with different types of metals.
·Eliminate static load charge transfer during oil storage terminal loading and unloading operations.
