Used for two fire pumps, one in operation and one as backup. After the running fire water pump malfunctions and shuts down, the backup fire water pump will automatically put into operation to ensure reliable supply of fire water, and has protection functions such as phase loss, overload, and short circuit for the motor.
The GRX type fire pump control cabinet is composed of an electric motor soft starter as the main control component, used as a backup starting control device for multiple fire pumps to operate. Suitable for linking various fire pump motors with fire control centers, fire hydrant boxes, etc., to achieve automatic start stop. When the running fire pump malfunctions and shuts down, the backup fire pump automatically starts running to ensure reliable supply of fire water.
The starting current of the GRX type fire pump control cabinet has a small impact on the power grid, and can appropriately reduce the capacity of the self-contained generator set to meet the demand for power grid fluctuations. Reduce the impact torque during the start-up of the water pump, ensure reliable motor start-up, lower the failure rate of the motor and water pump, and extend the service life of the equipment.

The GRX fire pump control cabinet is equipped with a switch, which is divided into three levels: automatic, manual, and maintenance. Each pump corresponds to a pair of start stop buttons and a keyboard control display panel, which intuitively displays the operation status of the corresponding motor. It includes operating current, voltage, fault code display, and a single operation button for manual operation. If remote control is required, there are start stop control input contacts left inside the cabinet. Operation indication output node (passive relay contact). When the running water pump fails and stops during automatic operation, the standby water pump will automatically start running. After troubleshooting, it will be set to the standby position. Due to the inherent pump starting mode of the soft starter, the valve does not need to be closed when starting.
