Bubble flow analyzer
The size and velocity of bubbles in the flow center
The M2 system is based on an innovative technology called Fiber Doppler Probe (OFDP), which can easily measure bubble size and velocity in very dense flows, bubble columns, pipelines, or other liquid gas environments without optical pathways
Main technical parameters
Size | As small as 100 μ m, with no upper limit |
Speed | 0.01 to 80 m/s |
Void ratio | 0 to 100% |
Working conditions | 0 up to 250 ° C, up to 100 bar, suitable for opaque liquids and turbulence |
Setting up | 0 can run in a few minutes |
OFDP: Not just the integration of components
The fiber Doppler probe technology designed by A2 Photonic Sensors is the result of over 25 years of research. It is the result of combining a phase optical probe with a laser Doppler velocimeter. Manufacturing micro sensor heads at the tip of optical fibers. Once immersed in the fluid, the fiber optic probe acts as both a laser emitter and a photodetector, measuring all bubbles that reach its tip. The miniaturization of the sensing part ensures very low interference with the flow, resulting in high measurement accuracy.
