Nowadays, the cycle of developing new car models in the automotive industry is increasingly shortened. This means that newer technologies must be applied on the basis of existing measurement schemes. Through FalconEye, users can now easily use the Zeiss FalconEye navigator technology previously used on flexible articulated probe mounts.

In the process of automobile manufacturing, in addition to measuring a large number of drilled holes, sections, bolts and other components, it is also necessary to measure the finished vehicle. For new car models, it is necessary to be able to quickly and accurately obtain the test results of their components. In batch testing, the testing requirements become more stringent, and there are also high demands for testing efficiency.

Based on the technology of Zeiss EagleEye navigator, the FalconEye optical probe system combined with a flexible joint probe holder can easily meet this challenge.

To quickly and conveniently obtain the required detection results, the probe must be perfectly integrated into the measurement system. The DS-CAA flexible articulated probe holder can significantly shorten measurement time by calibrating only a few spatial angle positions, and all spatial angle positions can be used for measurement.

By installing a manual rotating shaft, the FalconEye system can be positioned at three angles. This positioning process has good repeatability accuracy, ensuring that the laser line is quickly aligned with the workpiece. Therefore, this probe can perfectly assist users in completing measurement tasks quickly and accurately. The new FalconEye system can also be integrated into the CALIGO software package.
