The process of preparing XRF test glass melt by glass melting method is as follows: the sample is assisted by a flux (borate: generally a single or certain proportion mixture of lithium tetraborate and lithium metaborate) and a release agent (mostly halide), and a platinum yellow crucible (generally a platinum/gold mass ratio of 95/5) is used as a thermal conductivity container. The glass melt is melted by high temperature heating (the melting temperature of the sample is generally between 1050 ℃ -1300 ℃), and finally cooled directly at the bottom of the pot or cast mold to form the glass melt. As one of the sample preparation methods for XRF testing, the glass melting method effectively reduces the matrix effect and mineral effect of minerals such as ore, rock, soil, refractory materials, and metallurgical raw materials during XRF analysis, greatly improving the accuracy of analysis.
