CAAM-2001NEight lamp holder single graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometer

Detection methods and detectable trace elements:
1. Atomic absorption flame method:

Atomic absorption flame method (air acetylene) can detect elements up to PPM level.

Sodium (Na), potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), chromium (Cr), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), platinum (Pt), gold (Au), copper (Cu), silver (Ag), zinc (Zn), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), bismuth (Bi), etc.

2. Atomic absorption hydride method:

Atomic absorption hydride generation method can be used for trace detection of low melting point elements (PPb level). Measurement: Arsenic (As), Selenium (Se), Antimony (Sb), Bismuth (Bi), Lead (Pb), Tin (Sn), Tellurium (Te), Germanium (Ge), Mercury (Hg), etc.

3. Atomic absorption graphite furnace method:

The element detected by atomic absorption graphite furnace method has a small injection volume and high sensitivity (PPb level).

Silver (Ag), aluminum (Al), arsenic (As), gold (Au), barium (Ba), beryllium (Be), bismuth (Bi), calcium (Ca), cadmium (Cd), cerium (Ce), cobalt (Co), cesium (Cs), copper (Cu), dysprosium (Dy), erbium (Er), europium (Eu), iron (Fe), gallium (Ga), holmium (Ho), indium (In), potassium (K), lanthanum (La), lithium (Li), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), sodium (Na), nickel (Ni), platinum (Pt), osmium Os, Pb, Pd, Pr, Hf, Rb, Ph, Ru, Sb, Sc, Se, Sm, Sn, Zr, Te, Ti, V, Zn, Si, etc.

Precautions for atomic absorption spectrophotometer

1. The instrument should be placed in a dry room and used on a sturdy and stable workbench. Indoor lighting should not be too strong. During hot weather, it is not advisable to use an electric fan to blow air directly onto the instrument to prevent unstable illumination of the bulb filament.

2. Before using this instrument, understand its structure and working principle, as well as the functions of each control knob. Before turning on the power, the safety performance of the instrument should be checked. The power wiring should be firm, and the power supply should be good. The starting position of each adjustment knob should be correct before turning on the power switch.

3. When the instrument is not yet powered on, the pointer of the electric meter must be on the "0" mark. If this is not the case, the calibration screw on the electric meter can be used to adjust it.

4. Clean up. The atomic absorption method generally determines trace components, and special attention should be paid to preventing pollution, volatilization, and adsorption losses. The experimental environment and vessels have a significant impact on the determination, and attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the environment and vessels.

5. Prevent tempering

a. To prevent leakage of waste liquid discharge pipes, the outlet should be sealed with water.

b. The burner slit cannot be too wide. For a 100mm × 0.5mm slit burner, there is a risk of backfire when the slit width is greater than 0.8mm.

c. When using nitrous oxide acetylene flame, the acetylene flow rate should not be too small (not less than 2L/min).

d. The ratio of auxiliary gas to acetylene flow should not differ too much.

e. When transitioning from an air acetylene flame to a nitrous oxide acetylene flame, be careful not to reduce the acetylene flow rate too much.
