The maintenance of lifting belts is very simple, and damage caused by impact is a common danger in lifting operations. However, EA-A type lifting belts will only flatten under strong impact, so the risk is zero.
If the sling is severely damaged, the first damage will be to the outer cover, which will expose the core load-bearing core, indicating that the sling has been damaged; In repeated tests, it has been shown that internal damage cannot occur without visible damage to the external casing. Additionally, if the internal load-bearing fiber bundle has broken, it will be detected through the casing.
If there are small cuts on the sleeve, it can be protected with loose tape to prevent further cracking, but it must be carefully inspected to determine if there is any internal damage before continuing to use. If there are major cuts on the casing, our company must inspect whether they can be repaired and continue to be used.
