brief introduction
Dry powder used as fuel is easy to ignite and inconvenient to transport and use. Therefore, equipment such as a dry powder pellet press can be used to compress dry powder into ball, goose egg, square and other block shapes. The dry powder ball press is used to crush raw materials and produce them directly on the machine without adding water. Mainly used for ball making and block making of non-ferrous and black metal powders, directly entering the furnace for smelting, to increase added value. All metallurgical industry waste and auxiliary materials that need to be put into the furnace require a ball press machine to complete. For example: dust removal ash, pond mud, oxide skin, steel slag, iron concentrate powder, aluminum ash powder, silicon manganese ore powder, and so on.
The shape of the pellets produced by the dry powder pellet press determines whether the combustion of the material is complete or the permeability during smelting, and it plays an important role in the entire process. In practical use of the dry powder pellet press, the closer the shape of the pellets is to an irregular shape, like block coal, the better their combustion permeability and more complete combustion. If the shape of the ball belongs to a polygonal shape, according to technical theory, it has many contact surfaces and angles, which makes it easy to form a framework and has good naturalness in combustion and smelting. However, it is difficult to process in molds, and many enterprises cannot handle it. Therefore, the market is mostly dominated by circular shapes. In the process of technological research and the development and production of alloy rolling rolls, our factory adopts precision casting for one-time forming, and uses various alloy materials such as nickel, chromium, manganese, molybdenum, titanium, etc., which have significant characteristics such as high strength, good toughness, and good wear resistance. Solved the old problem of the roller not being wear-resistant, the machine model is fully equipped with alloy wear-resistant square multi sided ball rollers from small to large. Make the products produced by users more convenient for application.
Working principle
The main body of the dry powder ball press machine is powered by an electromagnetic speed regulating motor, which is transmitted to the driving shaft through a belt pulley, cylindrical gear reducer, and rod pin coupling. The active shaft and passive shaft operate synchronously through open gears. A hydraulic device is installed behind the passive bearing seat. The spiral feeding device is driven by an electromagnetic speed regulating motor, which rotates through a pulley and a worm reducer to force the compressed material into the main feeding port. Due to the constant torque characteristic of the electromagnetic speed regulating motor, when the pressing amount of the screw feeder is equal to the required material amount of the host, a constant feeding pressure can be maintained to stabilize the quality of the pellets. If the feeding amount is too large, the electrical overload of the feeding device will occur; If the feeding amount is too small, it will not form balls. Therefore, proficient operation skills are an important condition for ensuring the normal operation of the ball press.
The hydraulic protection device of the dry powder ball press is driven by a hydraulic pump to inject high-pressure oil into the hydraulic cylinder, causing axial displacement of the piston. The front connecting head of the piston rod is placed on the bearing seat to meet the production pressure requirements. When too much material is fed between the two pressure rollers or enters the metal block, the hydraulic cylinder piston rod is overloaded under pressure, the hydraulic pump will stop, the accumulator will buffer the pressure change, the overflow valve will open to return oil, and the displacement of the piston rod will increase the gap between the pressure rollers, allowing hard objects to pass through the pressure rollers. The system pressure returns to normal and can protect the pressure rollers from damage. This machine can adjust the pressure according to the requirements of the ball pressing density, and the production is flexible and agile.
Performance characteristics
Compared with ordinary ball presses, Tengda dry powder ball presses have the following characteristics:
1) The materials that need to be molded are of high fineness and cannot be added with water. They must be dry pressed.
2) High power and low speed, the average speed of the dry powder pellet press is not higher than 10 revolutions per minute. For the same output, the required power is often very large, usually more than 5 times the power of the coal pellet press.
3) Hydraulic tightening, dry powder ball press due to the huge load it carries, ordinary mechanical tightening rollers can no longer meet the needs, so they all need to be equipped with hydraulic tightening devices to automatically supplement pressure as needed.
4) Roll skin treatment, due to the high ball forming pressure and special material, requires the core component of the dry powder ball press machine, the roll skin, to be forged from alloy steel instead of ordinary cast steel, and then quenched as a whole for heat treatment. In this way, the hardness of the roll skin produced is basically close to that of bearing steel, in order to meet the system requirements.
In short, the characteristics of Tengda dry powder ball press equipment can be summarized in one sentence: high power and high pressure.
