A double headed electric heating tube is an electric heating tube with double heads, which is maintained by a metal tube as the outer shell (including stainless steel, copper tube, and various imported steel materials for non double headed electric heating tubes). High quality spiral electric heating alloy wires (nickel chromium, iron chromium alloy heating wires) are evenly distributed along the central axis of the tube, and the gaps are tightly filled with crystalline magnesium oxide powder with excellent heat resistance, thermal conductivity, and insulation properties. The ends of the tube mouth are sealed with silicone and processed by other processes. This heater has the characteristics of simple structure, high mechanical strength, high thermal efficiency, safety and reliability, simple installation, and long service life. It is widely used in air heating, metal molds, and various liquid heating applications due to its strong advantages.

According to the application environment, it can be divided into:

Application in the air: 1. Closed air heating 2. Circulating air heating 3. Special gas heating

Application in liquids: 1. Heating in water, 2. Heating in oil, 3. Heating in acidic and alkaline liquids (the heating area of the electric heating tube should be immersed and not exposed for air burning). The wattage density and raw materials used are different and should not be mixed. The outstanding application environment should not produce phenomena such as peeling, thinning, dust, oil, water, etc.

Application of acid and alkali gases:

Copper pipes and SUS304 # 316 pipes are generally used for neutral environments, Incoloy nickel alloy pipes are used for weak acid and weak alkali environments, Ti titanium alloy pipes are used for moderate acid and alkali environments, quartz, Teflon PTFE pipes, and Incoloy nickel alloy pipes are used for strong acid and strong alkali environments, SUS316 # pipes are used for 900 ℃ environments, SUS304 # pipes are used for 700 ℃ environments, Ti titanium alloy pipes are used for 650 ℃ environments, Cu copper pipes are used for 300 ℃ environments, and Teflon PTFE pipes are used for environments below 110 ℃. Sealing application materials are divided into:

(1) The high-temperature electric heating tube is sealed with silicone oil and can withstand temperatures up to 700 ℃. However, the drawback is that it cannot completely prevent liquids and moisture from entering. (2) When using electric heating tubes at medium and low temperatures, silicone sealing is used to prevent liquid from entering the tube from the terminal port. The defect is that it can only accept working temperatures of 220 ℃ and instantaneous temperatures of 250 ℃. (3) When using electric heating tubes at low temperatures, Epoxy sealing is used to prevent moisture and liquids from entering. The drawback is that it can only accept working temperatures of 150 ℃ and instantaneous temperatures of 185 ℃.

Due to process factors, the double headed electric heating tube has a 5cm non heating area at both ends. If there is a need to extend the non heating area, please inform us before customization. If the watt density is too high, fins and fins can be added to increase the heat dissipation effect.

The wiring method for dual head electric heating tubes includes Y - △ type wiring, which belongs to three-phase voltage, and series and parallel wiring, which belongs to single-phase voltage. When wiring, suitable heat-resistant wires must be selected according to the temperature of the wiring area, and the terminals must be locked to avoid short circuits, machine leakage, and burning of the electric heating tube.
