1. Adopting MODBUS protocol RS485 RTU communication method, master-slave half duplex communication, master calls slave address, slave responds to communication.
2. Data frame format: 1 starting address bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no checksum.
3. Baud rate: 9600bps.
4. The message frame contains: address field, function code field, data field, CRC16 detection field.
5. This device supports hexadecimal 03H and 10H function codes (i.e. decimal 03 and 16 function codes). Among them, 03H is used to read the device stack, and 10H is used to modify the device stack.
Precautions for using the display type indoor air quality detector BM5011:
(1) The RS485 communication line requires shielded twisted pair cables, and if necessary, two 250 Ω terminal matching resistors are needed.
(2) The usage environment should be free of conductive dust, corrosive metals, and gases that damage insulation, and avoid direct sunlight and rain.
(3) Working in a high humidity environment above 90% RH for a long time will cause drift.
(4) Avoid placing components in environments with salt spray, acidic or oxidizing gases (such as sulfur dioxide, hydrochloric acid, etc.).
