The SHT1x series (including SHT10, SHT11, and SHT15) is Sensirion's surface mount sensor family. It integrates sensor components and signal processing circuits with minimal footprint, and provides fully calibrated digital outputs. Unique capacitive sensor components are used to measure relative humidity, while temperature is measured through bandgap sensors. Its CMOSens ® Technology ensures good reliability and long-term stability. The humidity sensor is seamlessly coupled to a 14 bit analog-to-digital converter and serial interface circuit, giving it good signal quality, fast response time, and anti-interference (EMC) characteristics.

Each SHT1x humidity sensor has been individually calibrated in a precision humidity chamber. The calibration coefficients are programmed into the OTP memory on the chip. These coefficients are used for internal calibration of sensor signals. The two-wire serial interface and built-in voltage regulation can facilitate system integration. SHT1x adopts surface mount LCC (leadless chip carrier) technology, which can be used for standard reflow soldering. The same sensor can also be provided in a plug-in package (SHT7x).
