Working principle of diatomaceous earth pre coating filter:
Firstly, the chemical centrifugal pump pumps the filtrate into the pre coating tank. When the liquid reaches the capacity of the pre coating tank, the pump is stopped and the pre coating tank is started for stirring. Then, a certain proportion of diatomaceous earth is added for thorough stirring. When the diatomaceous earth is completely stirred evenly, the filtration pump is started to pump the mixed liquid into the filter machine for filtration circulation. When the liquid is clear and transparent from the sight glass, the valve is switched to enlarge the liquid in the tank for filtration.
As the filtration time increases, more and more suspended solids and impurities are trapped on the filter plate, causing the thickness of the filter cake to continuously increase. This increases the filtration resistance and raises the pressure inside the tank. When the pressure reaches a certain value, slag discharge is required. Stop inputting the filtrate into the tank and blow compressed air into the tank through the overflow pipe. Then, press the filtrate into another filter machine or other container. After the liquid is emptied, continue to blow and filter for 20 minutes, and then close the air valve. When the pressure inside the tank is zero, open the butterfly valve, start the pneumatic vibration body or vibration motor, make the filter plate vibrate, and shake the filter cake on the filter plate and discharge it through the slag discharge port below the tank.
