Feed waste gas is extracted by a induced draft fan and enters the dust removal, cooling, and dehumidification equipment through a dust hood pipeline for pre-treatment. It then enters the UV photolysis and deodorization equipment, where under high-energy ultraviolet radiation, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) undergo various reactions such as ring opening and breaking of chemical bonds (photochemical reactions), and are degraded into low molecular weight compounds such as CO2 and H2O; On the one hand, high-energy ultraviolet light is used to irradiate oxygen in the air to generate ozone. Ozone absorbs ultraviolet light to generate oxygen free radicals and oxygen. Oxygen free radicals react with water vapor in the air to generate hydroxyl radicals, a stronger oxidant that oxidizes organic waste gases such as alcohols, aldehydes, and carboxylic acids to inorganic substances such as water and carbon dioxide. In addition, ozone that does not absorb ultraviolet radiation is also a strong oxidant, which oxidizes some organic waste into inorganic substances such as water and carbon dioxide upon contact.
In fact, in many workshop odor deodorization projects, a single environmental protection equipment is no longer able to solve the problem.
