Instructions for Use:
1.Airflow measurement:
(1) Press the power button to start the instrument.
(2) pressUNITSSelect the measurement unit with the key,CMMcubic meter/Minutes) orCFM(cubic feet)/Minutes).
Attention: When turned on, the unit displayed is the measurement from the last shutdown
(3) Press and hold“AREA”Button until issued“toot toot”Two sounds, the instrument enters the area setting mode. The leftmost number at the bottom of the display screen starts flashing.
(4) Use the scroll up key to change the value of the flashing number;
Use the left flip key to move the decimal point position;
Use the right-click button to move and edit digits.
(5) After setting up, press and holdAREAPress the button (until the instrument panel emits)“toot toot”Two sounds) to save the area setting value to the memory. Instrument returned toCFMorCMMMeasurement mode.
(6) Place the fan in the environment to be tested, ensuring that the wind direction is consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow (on the inner surface of the fan).

Unit Selection
(1)Remove the watch cover and place it next to the battery door ℉/Select the required temperature unit for the ℃ switch
(2)Put back the protective cover and connect the sensor and instrument sockets.

(1)During measurement,press“PROBE TEMPERATURE HOLD”Press the key to lock the air temperature reading.
(2)LCDThe bottom will display a hold indicator.
(3)Press again“PROBE TEMPERATURE HOLD”Return the key to normal state.
maximum/minimum(temperature)
Users can use the following operations to record the maximum temperature/Minimum reading
(1)Press“TEMPERATURE MAX/MIN”The first time the key is pressed, the instrument will enter maximum and minimum value tracking mode. At this point, it is possible toLCDRead the maximum value tracked by the instrument.
(2)Second press“TEMPERATURE MAX/MIN”Check the minimum value.
(3)Third press“TEMPERATURE MAX/MIN”The key returns to normal.
3.Infrared temperature measurement (non-contact)
(1)Install the infrared temperature sensor at the top of the meter.
(2)Aim the temperature sensor at the surface being measured
(3)Press downIRPress the key to start measuring the temperature of the target object's surface.
(4)LCDThe central display shows the infrared temperature and displays the temperature at that point.
(5)When it's turned offIRWhen the key is pressed, the laser will also turn off and the reading will freeze approximately3second.
(6)Approximately3In seconds, the instrument defaults back to displaying airflow and temperature.
(7)The fan (temperature of the air) will continuously monitor the temperature measurement and its temperature will be displayedLCDAbove
4.Connect the fan
(1)The plug interface of the fan is located in the sensor socket at the top of the meter.
(2)Carefully align the plug with the socket and insert it tightly. Do not forcefully insert or insert incorrectly, make sure to align in a straight line.
(3)If the fan plug is not connected to the meter or if there is a problem with the sensor,LCDA dashed line will be displayed at the location of the air flow velocity.
5.Airflow testing
(1)Press the power button to start the instrument.
(2)PressUNITSPress the key to select the unit to be measured.
Attention:When turned on, the unit displayed is the measurement from the last shutdown.
(3)Insert sensors into the airflow column to ensure that the wind direction is consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow (on the inner surface of the fan).
(4)ObservationLCDThe displayed readings of airflow velocity and temperature. bigLCDDisplay the airflow velocity reading,LCDThe temperature reading is displayed in the upper right corner.
6.Multi point average measurement of air volume(Gundam20point)
(1)Press and holdAVGPress the key until you hear two beeps.“AVG“Will be displayed onLCDThe instrument enters multiple points(20point)Average measurement mode.
(2)Press downAVGKey measurement. You will hear a prompt sound,“HOLD“Will be displayed onLCDUp there.
(3)The main display value of the instrument is the average of all points, and the value in the upper right corner represents the number of points that have been averaged.5After a few seconds, the instrument will return from displaying the average value to displaying the current value. (4)Repeat the step2-3 steps until all points are measured.
(5)Press downAREAKey to clear multi-point average data.
(6)Press and holdAVGPress the key until you hear two beeps to return to the airflow velocity measurement mode.
7.Auto Power Off
In order to extend the battery life,20After minutes, the instrument panel will automatically shut down. But you can disable the automatic shutdown function by following these steps.
(1)Turn off the instrument panel.
(2)While restarting the instrument panel, press and hold the backlight button.
(3)“dis APO”appear inLCDAt this time, the automatic shutdown function will not work.
(4)The automatic shutdown disable function is only available each time the instrument is turned on and is only applicable for this operation.
(5)InCFM/CMMThe instrument will not automatically shut down in multi-point averaging mode.
