Working principle of pressure tank: An air pressure tank is an energy storage device composed of a steel shell and a rubber airbag inner liner. The rubber airbag completely separates the water chamber from the air chamber. When the system pressure decreases, the pressure of pre filled nitrogen will squeeze the water in the airbag into the system, slowing down the decrease in system pressure and playing a stabilizing role; When the system pressure rises above the pressure of nitrogen in the chamber, water enters the airbag of the pressure tank. At this time, the airbag expands, absorbs pressure, prevents the system pressure from rising sharply, and stabilizes the system pressure.
Circulating water stabilization, steam water supply expansion system stabilization, heating system circulating water replenishment stabilization, fire water supply system replenishment stabilization, variable frequency water supply stabilization, boiler replenishment, pneumatic water supply and other occasions.
The function of the pressure tank: The pressure tank plays a role in balancing water volume and pressure in a closed water circulation system, avoiding frequent opening of safety valves and frequent replenishment of automatic water valves. In addition, in the water system, the pressure tank can also reduce the frequent starting of the water pump, which can be used to absorb the water hammer impact caused by the opening and closing of valves, water pumps, etc. in the system, as well as a small amount of water replenishment at night to put the main pump of the water supply system into sleep, thereby reducing electricity consumption and extending the service life of the water pump. In constant pressure water replenishment, firefighting, and water treatment, the pressure tank plays a role in preventing sudden drops in system pressure and stabilizing system pressure.
Characteristics of air pressure tank:
The airbag structure inside the pressure tank ensures that water does not come into contact with the tank wall, so there is no rust inside the pressure tank wall and no condensation outside the pressure tank, greatly extending its service life. Compared with traditional expansion tanks, pressure tanks in refrigeration and HVAC systems have many advantages such as easy installation (do not install at the highest point), small space occupation, no secondary pollution, and long service life.
Performance parameters: Shell material: Carbon steel Airbag material: EPDM or butyl rubber
Temperature resistance: -10-120 ℃ Pressure bearing: 8bar/10bar/16bar/25bar
Installation of pressure tank:1In the heating system, it is recommended to install the pressure tank at the relatively lowest point of the system water temperature, usually at the return end of the system and the cold water inlet end of the hot water storage tank. Expansion tanks of 24L and below can be directly connected to the system pipeline due to their light weight. To avoid water ingress and heavy load on the system pipeline during operation, expansion tanks with a capacity of 24L or more are equipped with three legged supports. Metal hoses can be used to connect the pressure tank to the system, and buried screws can be used to fix the support feet of the pressure tank, ensuring stability during use.
2A safety valve should be installed near the pressure tank to prevent damage to the pressure tank and other components of the system in case of abnormal pressure.
3In closed cycle heating and air conditioning systems, it is not possible to store air pressure tanks at the outlet of the water pump, as this may cause cavitation of the water pump.
4The pressure tank is shipped from the factory and the pre filled pressure has been set, usually at 1BAR-4.0BAR. If the user believes that the pressure is not suitable for the operation of this system, they must use a pressure gauge to test and inflate/deflate at the same time, or contact the supplier. They are not allowed to inflate/deflate without authorization
