The compound hinge type expansion joint is actually composed of two angular expansion joints combined with a long middle connecting pipe. It can absorb lateral bending displacement in a single plane direction. Their hinges can withstand the thrust of internal pressure.

Installation and usage precautions:

1. The small pull rod on the expansion joint is used for installation and transportation "cold tightening" and cannot be used as a load-bearing component. After the product is installed on the pipeline, it needs to be removed before it can be put into operation.

2. During installation, it should be noted that the hinge rotation plane of the expansion joint needs to be consistent with the displacement plane.

3. When the lateral displacement is large or the system pressure is high, this type of product can be subjected to "cold tightening". The cold tightening amount is taken as half of the actual lateral displacement, which is 1/2Y. The cold tightening direction is opposite to the displacement direction.
