It is an adjustable gap coating machine, whose adjustable end plate limits the coating range of the coating sample during scraping. The metric differentiator adjusts the gap of the scraper from 0 to 6300 microns in units of 10 microns.

shouldapplicatorTwo end plates are connected by a bridge, and an adjustable scraper is located below the bridge. Two differentiators pass through the bridge and contact the upper edge of the scraper, allowing for vertical adjustment of the scraper to control the gap and ultimately the thickness of the final coating. The scraper and end plate are made of 6.4mm (1/4in) thick aluminum material. During the coating process, the end plate effectively accommodates the sample pool.
