The Coastal fixed base system measures and reports meteorological data for permanent airports, allowing support for CAT I, CAT II or CAT III airports. Our FMQ-19 fixed base system includes the following sensors: wind speed and direction, redundant altitude, relative humidity (dew point), air temperature, visibility, freezing rain, cloud height and coverage, rainfall type, precipitation, lightning and runway visibility, soil moisture, and optional camera monitoring.
The Coastal fixed base system has a universal serial interface that allows users or third parties to configure the system to receive and process data from new sensors. Through a simple ZENO®Software Configuration ZENO®The vast majority of sensors communicate.
ZENO®The aviation weather station can transmit data to the same or different locations in several different ways. Due to the availability of 7 serial ports, data can be transmitted without interference through radio, dial-up, mobile phones, and other means. Wireless options include dual or single line, with frequencies including UHF, VHF, 900 or 1.2 GHz spectral range.
The Coastal fixed base system is compatible with one or more up to five base stations (all or part of the above sensors), and data can be transmitted to any computer or server in the meteorological room, and then transmitted to one or more display terminals, other computers, LAN/WAN, and sound output.
