Product Description:
Cleanert®ACA uses special carbon materials that have strong adsorption capacity for highly polar compounds such as acrylamide in water samples. By comparing hydrophilic and lipophilic equilibrium polymer materials with ordinary graphitized carbon materials, both exhibit penetration of acrylamide when loaded in large quantities.
At present, the most widely used method for detecting acrylamide is gas chromatography, which is also the method adopted in the "Standard Test Method for Drinking Water" (GB/T5750.8-2006). The principle is to add acrylamide with newly generated bromine to generate α, β - dibromopropanamide, which is extracted with ethyl acetate and analyzed by gas chromatography (ECD detector). It not only involves many steps, but also involves issues such as derivative efficiency and extraction solvent pollution.
Cleanert®ACA does not require bromine reaction, has a large sample loading capacity, uses fewer organic solvents, and is easy to operate.
