The basic principle of column burial depth testing based on shock elastic waves is similar to ultrasonic waves, except that electromagnetic excitation is used to induce shock elastic waves. The reflection characteristics of elastic waves are utilized to calculate the length and burial depth of the column based on the calibrated elastic wave velocity and the reflection time at the bottom of the column.
Using an electromagnetic excitation device to emit a pulse signal on the cross-section of the column head, which undergoes elastic wave reflection at the end face of the column. By analyzing and judging the collected elastic wave reflection signals, the length and burial depth of the column can be calculated.
