Keminier HS mixer- Overview
The HS side entry agitator has the same robustness, reliability, and simple design as our other high-quality turbine agitators and mixers. The core of the HS mixer is a specially designed right angle drive that enters the mixer laterally.
Chemineer ® HS side entry turbine agitator cannot be conveniently installed with top entry agitator when the tank body is too large, or the head space is severely limited. Supporting top entry mixers on large tanks is usually much more expensive than installing side entry mixers. The long shaft on the extremely high fuel tank can be omitted, saving costs and simplifying the design. For the installation of large storage tanks, several smaller side entry agitators may be more efficient and economical than a single larger unit.
HS mixers come in four standard sizes, ranging from 1 to 75 horsepower. Specially designed, up to 250 horsepower, usable. Multiple power options and sealing options, coupled with two standard output speeds and precise sized impellers, mean that almost all standard applications can use HS mixers. For process applications involving continuous mixing, heat transfer, mass transfer, or solid suspension, consider HS side entry agitators.
Keminier HS mixer- Characteristics
Right angle design
The right angle gear design of the HS mixer reduces the cantilever load and lowers the nozzle reinforcement requirements to a minimum. The structural steel support legs on the HS mixer are an optional standard configuration with adjustable pull rods.
Spiral bevel gear transmission
The HS driver adopts a hardened spiral bevel gear transmission device to provide heavy-duty performance and strength. All gears are rated for load according to AGMA standards and checked for AGMA quality level 10.
High capacity tapered roller bearings
The L10 bearing has a rated lifespan of 30000 hours, and the high-capacity tapered roller bearings from Timken provide a long service life and excellent wear resistance for the entire HS drive.
Positive lubrication
All gears and bearings in the HS drive are splash lubricated by a specialized system developed by Chemineer. The double lip seal on the drive shaft can prevent oil leakage or the infiltration of pollutants.
Extra Capacity Reducer Shaft
Due to the large cross-section, the low-speed shaft inside the transmission device greatly reduces gear deviation and misalignment. The design of the extended shaft can also minimize deflection, thereby achieving superior sealing life. The shaft is equipped with carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel. Machinable alloys can also be used for a wider range of applications.
Motor type and installation
The HS mixer has the characteristics of flexible installation and simple installation, and is compatible with standard foot operated motors ranging from 1 to 75 horsepower. Even if the mixer is installed on the water tank, the vertical adjustment screw can accurately align the motor. Ready to use at any time, standard couplings reduce costs and make replacement difficult.
Sturdy steel structure
The drive housing, support base, and installation base are all made of high-tech CNC machining equipment and steel plates. Each component must undergo quality inspection using a computerized precision coordinate measuring machine. Each house is equipped with lifting lugs and eyebolts to simplify and safely handle the mixer during installation and disassembly. Catalysis and polyurethane exterior decoration prevent corrosion in indoor and outdoor operating environments.
Shut down the system
All HS mixers come standard with a retraction mechanism and a sealing closure device. This way, the mechanical seal of the ink cartridge can be replaced or the packing box can be repackaged without emptying the storage tank.
When the easily accessible retraction bolt pulls the shaft closure ring back into the flange housing, the mechanical seal is engaged. The closing seal is provided by a fluororubber O-ring. Then rotate the shaft to lock the extension shaft into the housing. This locking function ensures positive closure and shaft stability during mechanical seal replacement.
The closure of the stuffing box is achieved by simply tightening the tightening bolt, which pulls back and secures the cut collar. The sealing is provided by a corrosion-resistant gasket sandwiched between the closing collar and the mounting flange.
