Instrument Introduction

ELPI+is a new, improved and widely used version characterized by the ELPI+system. ELPI+can measure the size and concentration of particles ranging from 6nm to 10um in real-time, with a sampling frequency of 10 Hz. The characteristics of ELPI+are real-time, independent operation, wide sampling concentration distribution, wide particle size range, and a sturdy structure that can operate under harsh conditions. Suspended particulate sampling technology can perform chemical analysis of particle size. In addition, ELPI+can measure the weight distribution of particle charges, and the characteristics of all products can be widely used for particle size measurement applications with ELPI+.


Working principle

The operating principle of ELPI+can be divided into three parts: particle charging, particle grading and screening according to size in the particle impact machine, and electronic detection using a sensitive electrostatic meter.Firstly, the particulate matter is loaded into a corona generator with a known electrical chargeInternally, the particulate matter then enters a low voltage 14 level electrically insulated separation sampler. Based on the aerodynamic diameter of the particulate matter and the charge it carries into the sampler and induced by a sensitive electrostatic meter, the particulate matter is collected into different levels of samplers. This sensed electrical signal is directly proportional to the number, concentration, and size of particles. Based on the relationship between particle size, performance of the motor, and sampling level, the detected electrical signal can be converted into the particle size distribution of the particles. The result is the real-time collection of the number and particle size distribution of particles. By turning off the power device, ELPI+can be used to measure the particle charge distribution.
