1.1 Purpose
The JL-XF series wedge-shaped intelligent flowmeter is developed by our company after long-term field investigations and summarizing the shortcomings of previous flowmeters in oilfield use. It is suitable for flow measurement of viscous liquids, with a viscosity of up to 500mPaS, and is used for flow measurement of solid suspensions such as mud, slurry, sand containing crude oil, sewage, heavy oil, residue oil, and low Reynolds number liquid media.
1.2 Composition
The wedge-shaped intelligent flowmeter consists of a flow sensor, a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, a flow and temperature display instrument, a pressure display instrument, and high and low pressure sound and light alarm parts.
1.3 Characteristics
1. The use of "V" - shaped flow components can eliminate stagnant areas and prevent blockages in the system.
2. The Reynolds number has a wide range of applications, and even at a Reynolds number of 500, it still maintains a square relationship between differential pressure and flow rate.
3. Easy to install, use, and maintain.
4. High measurement accuracy, expanded uncertainty of flow calibration: ± 0.5% to ± 0.2% (water calibration or oil calibration).
5. Long term stability is good, praised by users as a zero failure rate instrument.
6. One time split type meter, replacing the wedge (middle) can expand the range.
7. Diverse styles:
Ordinary type: The range ratio is within the range of 1:10, and the nonlinear error of the flow coefficient is ≤± 1%.
High performance type: The flow calibration expansion uncertainty within the range of 1:3 is ± 0.5% to ± 0.2%.
8. The overpressure alarm value and low-pressure alarm value can be set according to the on-site pressure situation. When overpressure or low-pressure situations occur during use, the instrument will automatically sound and light an alarm, effectively preventing production safety accidents caused by overpressure.

measuring principle
When the fluid filled in the pipeline flows through the wedge-shaped orifice plate, the differential pressure of the fluid is measured on the upstream and downstream sides of the wedge-shaped orifice plate. The differential pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, and pressure transmitter convert the differential pressure, temperature, and pressure signals into 4-20mA.dc current signals for output. These signals are processed by the intelligent flow rate calculator, temperature calculator, and pressure calculator, and their displayed values are the flow rate value, temperature value, and pressure value. At the same time, the pressure value is compared with the set value to determine whether an alarm is triggered.
