A single device can obtain multiple measurement results. SKF machine condition consultant provides the overall "speed" vibration degree of the vibration signal in the measuring machine, and automatically compares them with the standards preset by the Organization for Standardization (ISO). When the measured value exceeds those standards, the device will display a "warning" or "danger" signal. At the same time, the device will read the measured value of "envelope acceleration" and compare it with the established bearing vibration standard to verify the bearing fit or indicate potential bearing damage. SKF portable equipment status monitoring devices also use infrared sensors to measure temperature and indicate abnormal temperatures.
Accuracy, flexibility, and confidence
During measurement, the acceleration sensor input signal of the SKF portable device status monitor is processed to provide two different measurement values for each POINT on the machine, namely overall velocity and envelope acceleration. At the same time, the non-contact infrared sensor of the SKF portable device status monitor measures the surface temperature of the measurement location and displays all three measurement values simultaneously.
