In the flow cell testing system, the sample to be tested is placed in a small capacity flow cell. The dissolution medium passes through the flow cell at 37 degrees Celsius, and the eluate is filtered through the top filter of the flow cell and can be directly used for analysis or collected using a collector. SOTAX CE7 smart can be tested for various dosage forms using different flow cells and testing methods, such as implantable drugs, drug release stents, suppositories, powders, and granules. Traditional dosage forms such as tablets and capsules can also be tested using the same system. Six types of circulation pools can meet the needs of the vast majority of formulations.
SOTAX uses ceramic piston pumps equipped with 7 valve free ceramic pump heads to ensure high reproducibility and flow stability, and because it is an inert material, it greatly reduces the maintenance work of the circulation pump.
According to the characteristics of the sample, open or closed systems can be selected:
Open System: The CE7 smart fully automatic flow cell method (USP4) dissolution meter is suitable for formulations that require a large amount of dissolution medium to maintain leak conditions.
Closed system: suitable for formulations that require only a small amount of dissolution medium (such as 15ml) for testing (such as stent release formulations)
