In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy, the scale and speed of the development and utilization of lake resources have greatly increased, affecting the natural evolution process of lakes and causing serious damage to lake ecosystems. With the rapid development of China's socio-economic and urbanization processes, the problem of lake water pollution is becoming increasingly prominent. According to the evaluation results of the national comprehensive water resources planning, the nutritional status evaluation of 84 representative lakes in China shows that 44 lakes are in a state of eutrophication throughout the year, accounting for 52.4% of the total evaluated lakes, while the rest of the lakes are in a state of moderate nutrition. Lake protection and pollution control have become the focus of environmental protection in China.
