1 working principle
The belt filter press is divided into three steps for filtration and dehydration functions:
1 Gravity dehydration zone
The sludge from the wastewater treatment plant is pumped into the sludge mixing tank and mixed with a polymer coagulant(polymer)After mixing, the fine suspended particles in the sludge are bridged by polymer coagulants to form latex (floc))Larger particles are then overflowed from the upper end of the mixing tank into the subsequent pressing and dewatering operation through gravity flow.
2 Pressure dehydration zone
After the sludge enters the pressure dewatering zone from the gravity dewatering zone, the upper and lower filter cloths gradually squeeze the sludge for dewatering.
3 Pressurized dehydration zone
The sludge moves into the pressurized dewatering zone with the filter cloth, and is arranged between six vertical rollers in a configuration where the roller diameter gradually decreases and the pressure gradually increases. With the shear force generated by the change of the upper and lower positions of the filter cloth between different rollers on the sludge, the capillary tubes in the sludge are combined with water(capillary water)Squeeze it out to produce a drier sludge cake.
II advantage
1 Automatic control, continuous operation.
2 Low energy consumption and long service life.
3 High dehydration efficiency and high solid content in the mud cake.
4 Easy to manage and convenient to maintain.
5 Low noise, minimal chemical agents.
6 Economically reliable and widely applicable.
