● Quiet noise level
The mute function is used to silence the speaker when you are not receiving a signal.
VOX (voice control function only works when headphones are plugged in)
The VOX voice control function allows you to transmit without pressing the PTT key. When this function is activated, you can directly start the transmission operation through voice, and the transmission will automatically end after the voice stops.
● Voice prompts
Voice prompts are used when you rotate the channel encoder to switch channels, and the walkie talkie prompts the current channel number through voice.
● Scan
Scanning is used to monitor the channel signals added for scanning on walkie talkies.
● High and low power selection
This machine has high and low power setting function. High power is 5W, low power is 1W. You can choose according to your needs to maximize the efficiency of the walkie talkie.
● Bandwidth settings
This walkie talkie has a wide and narrow bandwidth selection function, which can be programmed through BFP-AH530 software to select broadband (25kHz) or narrowband (12.5kHz) as needed in the bandwidth settings.
● Beat frequency offset
Set the clock frequency of the microprocessor system according to the offset of each channel to avoid interfering with the received frequency signal during reception.
● Busy Channel Lock (BCL)
This function is used to prevent users from receiving unauthorized signals and sending signals to busy channels, keeping the channel clean and free from interference.
Use BFP-AH530 to write frequency software and select busy channel locking in the channel information. Users can choose QT/DQT or carrier as needed.
Simulated Yayin CTCSS and Digital Yayin CDCSS
This feature can block unwanted calls. Although it seems to have its own dedicated channel when using CTCSS/CDCSS, if other walkie talkies are set to the same code as your walkie talkie, the station can still hear your call.
CTCSS/CDCSS decoding
Open the BFP-AH530 frequency writing software, enter the desired transmission and reception frequencies (clicking does not work if frequency is not entered), select the standard frequency or code required for CTCSS/CDCSS decoding below, or directly enter non-standard sub tone values within the range of 60-260Hz for CTCSS and D000N/I-D777N/I for CDCSS), and then write them into the walkie talkie through the frequency writing software. When the encoding of the transmitting walkie talkie matches the decoding, the walkie talkie can receive the call.
CTCSS/CDCSS encoding
Open the BFP-AH530 frequency writing software, enter the desired transmission and reception frequencies (clicking does not work if frequency is not entered), select the standard frequency or code required under CTCSS/CDCSS encoding, or directly enter non-standard sub tone values within the range of 60-260Hz in CTCSS and D000N/I-D777N/I in CDCSS), and then write them into the walkie talkie through the frequency writing software. When the decoding of the receiving walkie talkie is consistent with the encoding, the walkie talkie can receive the call.
