Axial type internal pressure compensator (expansion joint), also known as universal compensator, consists of a corrugated pipe and structure, mainly used to absorb axial displacement and less lateral and angular displacement. It has a simple structure and low cost, so it should be considered first wherever it is available in pipelines.
Product Details
The universal compensator consists of a bellows and two end fittings. It absorbs axial displacement (as well as a small amount of lateral and angular displacement) through the flexible deformation of the corrugated tube. Welding of end connections or straight pipes to pipeline connections; Or weld the flange and connect it to the pipeline flange. The small pull rod on the expansion joint is mainly used as a rigid support during transportation or as a pre deformation adjustment for the product. It is not a load-bearing component. The universal compensator has a simple structure and low price, so it should be given priority consideration wherever possible on the pipeline.
Installation precautions:
1. The direction of the inner lining cylinder should be consistent with the flow direction of the medium (there is a flow direction mark on the compensator).
2. After the on-site installation is completed, the small pull rod needs to be removed.
3. In order to reduce the stress on the pipe frame, this type of compensator can be subjected to deformation (preloading, preloading) before installation.
