2. Technical principles
According to the HJ637-2018 national standard, fully automatic extraction of oil substances in water is carried out using magnetic stirring with tetrachloroethylene. Then, an oil-water separation membrane is used instead of anhydrous sodium sulfate to isolate impurities and moisture, separating the solution of oil and tetrachloroethylene, and determining the total oil content of the extract. At the same time, after adsorption and removal of polar substances such as animal and vegetable oils by magnesium silicate, petroleum products are determined. The total extract and petroleum content were calculated based on the absorbance A2930, A2960, and A3030 at spectral bands with wave numbers of 2930 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH2 group), 2960 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH3 group), and 3030 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in aromatic ring), respectively.

5. Working structure principle
EP4000B fully automatic infrared oil analyzerComposed of a fully automated operating software system, infrared spectroscopy system, and pre-processing extraction system. The machine adopts drum type three-dimensional mixing technology to extract oil from water, remove water and impurities, and then measure it in a colorimetric dish. The built-in magnesium silicate adsorption device can measure the content of petroleum and animal and vegetable oils. After the measurement is completed, the instrument will automatically discharge and clean the waste. Fully automated, without the need for operators to come into contact with tetrachloroethylene, including automatic sampling, extraction, water and impurity removal, measurement, cleaning, drainage, and data storage.
